NicAlliance ("we", "us") supplies pharmaceutical grade nicotine to business customers. This notice explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, who it reaches, and what rights you have over it. It applies to nicalliance.com and to the two forms on it: the quote request form and the technical document download form.
We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@nicalliance.com.
What we collect, and when
We do not collect personal information passively. Everything below is information you type into a form and submit.
When you request a quote
The quote request form asks for your name, your company, your work email address and a description of your requirement. It also accepts your country, the product you are asking about, the type of inquiry and the quantity you need. We use this only to answer your inquiry and to hold the resulting commercial conversation.
When you download a technical document
The document download form asks for your name and your work email address before it releases a redacted technical document. When you submit it, we receive an email containing:
- your name
- your email address
- the title of the document you requested
- the product the document relates to
- the date and time of the request, in UTC
- the address of the page you requested it from
We use this to understand which documents buyers need and to follow up where a technical conversation is warranted. Your name and email address are also kept in your browser's session storage so that you are not asked for them again while you stay on the site. Session storage is cleared by your browser when you close the tab. It is never sent anywhere except with the request you submit.
Why we are allowed to hold it
For business customers, our legal basis under the GDPR is legitimate interest: responding to a commercial inquiry you initiated, and supplying the technical documentation you asked for. You can object to this at any time, and we will stop.
Where consent is the more appropriate basis, we ask for it at the point of collection rather than assuming it.
Who else sees it
- Resend delivers the notification emails that carry your submission to our inbox. Resend acts as our processor and does not use your information for its own purposes.
- Vercel hosts this website and processes the network requests that carry your submission.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertising networks, data brokers or list vendors. Nothing on this site sends your information to a third party for marketing.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Site analytics, where enabled, are cookieless and aggregate: they count page views without identifying you and without following you between websites.
How long we keep it
We keep quote inquiries and document download records for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Where an inquiry becomes a customer relationship, the associated records are kept for as long as that relationship and the applicable commercial and regulatory record keeping rules require.
Where your information goes
We are based in the United States, and our hosting and email providers process information in the United States and the European Union. Where information about someone in the EEA or the United Kingdom is transferred to the United States, that transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses our providers maintain.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to object to our use of it. Similar rights apply under United States state privacy laws.
To exercise any of them, email info@nicalliance.com. We will respond within one month. You do not have to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.
If you believe we have handled your information badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first, at the same address, so we can put it right.
Security
Submissions travel over HTTPS. Technical documents are not published as public files: they are released only in response to a submitted form, and the request is logged to our inbox rather than to a third party analytics system.
Changes to this notice
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than made silently.
